SMP Consulting – Fran Simons

Fran Simons has a background in educational psychology, human resource management, leadership development, media and communications.

Her public and private sector career has included senior appointments in high profile organisations, bringing critical experience to her executive coaching, human capital consulting and media & presentation training roles with SMP Consulting.

As a former senior consultant with one of the international management consulting firms, she successfully undertook a number of major workplace change, leadership development and executive coaching assignments in the transport and telecommunications industries, and the Victorian public sector.

She has held senior executive positions in large organisations, responsible for human resources, industrial relations, recruitment and communications functions. In these roles she has devised and implemented a range of innovative change strategies and tools, including workforce planning and skills development programmes, employee and customer communications surveys, mentoring, management and executive development programs, and promotional marketing campaigns. She has also written extensively on workplace communication for the Australian Financial Review Boss magazine.

In company with fellow director Collin Segelov, Fran contributes to a rare combination of expertise across a range of strategic communications and human capital fields of practice.
